The 23 players who will participate in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Under-23 (U-23) Asian Cup qualifiers, the first round of men"s soccer qualifiers for the 2024 Paris Olympics, have been confirmed.
The Korea Football Association announced on the 5th that it has confirmed the final roster of 23 out of 26 players who participated in convocation training in preparation for the U-23 Asian Cup qualifiers to be held from the 6th.
This national team, comprised of players under the age of 22, had 26 members convened in Changwon for training since the 28th of last month, and the final 23 were selected on this day.
Among the 26, Kim Joo-chan (Suwon) and Park Chang-hwan (E-Land). Hwang Jae-hwan (Ulsan) was excluded.
The final list included overseas players Hyuk-gyu Kwon (Celtic), Hyun-joo Lee (Been Wiesbaden), and Jeong Sang-bin (Minnesota United).

The AFC U-23 Asian Cup qualifiers held from the 6th to the 12th are the first gateway to next year"s Paris Olympics.
They must pass this preliminary round to participate in the U-23 Asian Cup finals (Qatar) next April, which is the final Asian qualifying round for the Paris Olympics.
A total of 16 teams, including the first place team in each of the 11 groups in this preliminary round, the top four teams among the second place teams in each group, and the host country Qatar, will advance to the U-23 Asian Cup finals.
South Korea competes against Qatar, Kyrgyzstan, and Myanmar in Group B.
They will face Qatar on the 6th, Kyrgyzstan on the 9th, and Myanmar on the 12th at the Changwon Soccer Center.
In the U-23 Asian Cup finals, the 1st to 3rd place teams secure a direct ticket to the Olympics, and the 4th place team competes in a playoff against the 4th place team from the final African qualifier to advance to Paris.
